5612 camp 2006:wat a great camp it had been...it started from sunday afternoon at about 3pm and ended today at about 1230pm.tho i had left before e camp even woke up todae...was sleeping in the chapel until i realised tat e carpet was reacting to my skin...causing rashes to appear...on top of that,i had many mosquito bites all over...which woke me up at about 530 in e morning... anyway, yesterdae was e so called games dae as we had a fun dae at pasir ris park playing games and enjoying ourself...after lunch,we started our station games...3 stations in total,e banana captions ball, battleship and river crossing. Banana Captions Ball:basic Captions Ball rule, standard play and stuff but witout a ball...instead,we used real riped bananas as e ball to be thrown around...as usual, many bananas were worn out and some even found their new homes on e nice clothes that e campers had on...hehe...e only problem was,it was hard to determind any winning team...and thus many teams were stuck there...which cause a lack in the other stations. BattleShip:again, standard battleship board game...tho we use e campers and cardboard boxes as e ships.and since in e board game version,u cant see ur competitor's battleship,e bomber from each team was blind-folded and directed by ther team memebers to throw their grenade at e oposing team's battleship.fun game to play, and to see e laugher from e little kiddie's faces. River Crossing:this station was e only stand alone station where no competition was ever needed.first objective was to find joshua, who was hiding inside e maze garden.very funny to see e teams crouching around looking for e 'prey'.reminds me of e documentry i watched about a pack of 25 lions hunting down elephants in africa.interesting.den,they had to cross e 'river'.1 sheet of newspaper is all they had to get everyone across point A and point B without anyone's body touching e ground...brings e creativity out of every team. the only problem we faced was time constrain and e distance between e stations...in e end,our last game 'tanks' had to be played in church as e bus arrived at about 430pm to send us back.nevermind,we had lots of fun getting wet in e church carpark...haha...imagine kids wearing egg cartons and styerfoam boxes as armors to protect their newpaper from getting wet...haha..after all the fun we had,my brother and i left for home to wash up and had our dinner. den we headed back down to church as cher hao needed our help for e night games...wow...wat fun...we had quite a few stations around...and we were playing in total darkness in church...e best part was every team had blind folds on...except e leaders and helpers who need to guide the way. in e chapel, was a chair maze for e teams to get their way through.pretty tough but fun.rite outside e chapel was e lipstick station where e team had to find a lipstick.den they had to draw patterns on each other's arm.haha...den there was my station where e leader n helper will leave e team at level 2,and we,e little devils will distract e team members n try to break them away fron the group.den e leader will gather them back n scold them...lol...den they will proceed to e pasta station where they need to dig tru cooked pastas to get out bible verses. there were 2 more stations but i cant really remember the details...sorry...lol...anyway...had lots of fun wif e little likkies tho some of them-in fact quite alot of them were quite xiang i would sae...but heck, they're small kids..wat do u except?really glad to be able to bring fun and laugher to e kids.really thoughttat all of us did a really good job in puting e games together.not to forget that God was there all along wif us to ensure our safety ya? anyway, gona sign off...gona watch my tv liao...missed it yesterdae nite...n todae's e last episode...so i better chao...
